Although it was only founded in 1996 near Lake Garda, the Lucaffe roastery has made a name for itself over the last decade thanks to the quality and passion of its founder Luca Venturelli. Typical of his coffee blends are the sometimes distinct, sometimes less distinct spicy aromas and a subtly sweet taste with a fine, chocolaty and sometimes malty note. The "Espresso Bar" consists of 60% high-quality Central and South American Arabica coffee and 40% fine Indian Canephora coffee (Robusta). An uncomplicated bar coffee, popular in Italy, honest and with a dense, nut-colored crema. crema. In this espresso, the generous hint of Robusta provides additional temperament and a malty note with subtle bitter tones, which, together with the fine fruity note of the Arabica produces the typical Italian bar flavor. However, Canephora is less full-bodied and tends to take a back seat in very milky coffee specialties.
