Caffè New York - a blunt and sincere coffee, like the Tuscan character.
Every time you enjoy a cup of Caffè New York, you close your eyes and realise that this cup has over 80 years of history.
It all began in 1930, when Ugo Incerpi founded the Art Nouveau-style Bar New York in the fashionable Italian spa town of Montecatini Terme and pampered his discerning international clientele with coffee he roasted himself. His coffee was so good that it spread like wildfire. On Sundays, people came from Florence, 50 km away, to enjoy it. With foresight, Ugo's daughter Loretta and her husband Oscar Onori moved and expanded the roastery to nearby Pistoia in the 50/60s. The love of espresso, the craftsmanship and the experience have now been passed on in four generations. Caffé New York supplies international connoisseurs beyond the borders of Tuscany. In Germany in particular, Caffé New York received special recognition, beating a much better-known competitor.
The coffee beans come from the best growing regions in Central America with 5% of what is probably the most expensive coffee beans in the world - Jamaica Blue Mountain.
This is how the New York Extra presents itself with its wonderful coffee aromas, broad deep nuances, fine and full of character in the aroma with a mild chocolaty taste. The harmony of the full-bodied taste and the aromas are almost perfectly accentuated in this coffee.
