Dual-boiler portafilter machines with two boilers for full control
A dual-boiler system has two separate boilers—one for brewing water and one for steam and hot water. Both are heated independently of each other, allowing you to set the brewing temperature to the exact degree using the PID controller, while the steam boiler consistently delivers strong pressure. This means you can reliably brew light roasts, which require a lower temperature, just as easily as you can make several milk-based drinks in a row.
A dual-boiler machine is the right choice if you value temperature stability, regularly brew for several people, or like to experiment with different beans. Our selection includes, among others, the La Marzocco Linea Mini, the ECM Synchronika, the Profitec Pro 700, and the Lelit Bianca. You can further narrow down your selection by price or brand using the filter.
