Espresso grinders with conical burrs for slow, cool grinding
In a conical grinder, a cone-shaped grinding mechanism rotates inside a stationary ring, so that the beans are broken at a low speed. The ground coffee barely heats up during the process; the grinder operates more quietly than many disc grinders and leaves less ground coffee behind in the grinding chamber when changing the grind setting.

A conical burr grinder is the right choice if you value flavor and quiet operation, or if you frequently switch between different beans. Our selection includes the La Marzocco Pico, available in several colors, and the La Marzocco Swan. For large quantities and high speed, disc grinders are the better choice; you can find them in our overview of all espresso grinders.
