Single-circuit portafilter machines for pure espresso enjoyment

A single-circuit machine uses a single boiler that can either provide hot water for espresso or steam for milk foam. To brew coffee, set the machine to brewing temperature; for a cappuccino or latte, switch to steam and wait a moment until the boiler reaches the higher temperature. This design makes the machines compact, energy-efficient, and significantly more affordable than dual-circuit and dual-boiler models.

A single-circuit machine is right for you if you mainly drink espresso and only occasionally make milk-based drinks. Many models feature an E61 brew group, PID control for the brew temperature, and a stainless steel or copper boiler. Our selection includes, among others, the ECM Classika, the Profitec GO, and the lever-operated machines from Olympia Express. You can further narrow down your selection by price or brand using the filter.
