Which portafilter machine is best for beginners?

If you're just getting started in the world of espresso, sturdy single-group machines like the QuickMill or the ECM PID II are a great choice. They're easy to use, built to last, and perfect for honing your barista skills at home.

Why is an espresso set a better value than individual machines?

A complete set ensures that the machine, grinder, and accessories work together perfectly. Not only will you save money, but you’ll also enjoy a seamless workflow that delivers consistently great espresso right from the start.

What's included in a barista starter kit?

A good barista starter kit includes a portafilter machine, a compatible grinder, a high-quality tamper, a cleaning kit, and—ideally—fresh espresso beans. This way, you can get started right away without having to buy anything else.

How do you properly care for your espresso set?

Clean your portafilter machine regularly with a suitable cleaner, brush away any coffee grounds from the grinder, and use filtered water. It’s also a good idea to have it serviced once a year so you can enjoy your equipment for years to come.
