The housing is made of highly polished stainless steel. The solid, raised stainless steel railing on the heated cup tray gives the machine a particularly elegant look. Compared to the previous model, ECM has significantly enlarged the pressure gauge on the Technika V, but still placed it on the front of the machine as always. In addition, the ECM Technika V Profi has a PID display for individual temperature adjustment of the boiler and display of the throughput time of the espresso.
PGD - What is it actually?
PID stands for "Proportional Integral Differential", whereby the proportional component measures the deviation between the set and actual temperature of the brewing water in proportion to the heating of the boiler. The integral component adds up the temperature deviations and balances them out.
The differential component is capable of estimating the temperature rise over a certain period of time and successively reducing the heating so that the setpoint value is reached more slowly and thus in a more controlled manner.
This control system enables efficient energy regulation.

The operation
With a 15-minute heat-up time, the ECM Technika V Profi is also quickly ready for use. You start the brewing process using the lever to the right of the brew group. Make sure that the brewing time is less than 30 seconds to create the perfect espresso. The ECM Technika V Profi is an espresso machine with a dual-circuit system, so you can brew espresso and froth milk at the same time. Thanks to the "No Burn" technology, the steam lance remains cool from the outside, so you can touch it without risk and the milk is also protected from burning.
For professional Cleaning a blind sieve is included in the scope of delivery. Together with some Cleaning powder you can use this to create a backflow of water and flush the pipes completely.
