Our top three espresso machines from €2,000 - the direct comparison: For all those who have already studied the topic a little more intensively and value additional features, we have therefore also made a small espresso machine comparison in the price range from €2,000. Quickmill, Rocket or ECM - we'll show you what the machines can do!
In the price range from €2,000, espresso enthusiasts have completely new options in terms of equipment and performance.
This time we have chosen models of the brands Quickmill, Rocket and ECM and show you the Quickmill 0985-EP "Emilia, the Rocket Mozzafiato Cronometro R and the ECM Technika V.
Why you can't go wrong with any of the three machines, regardless of our personal favourite?
- They all have a rotary pump, which is much quieter than a vibratory pump and gives you the option of connecting the machine directly to the mains water.
- You are also assured of a 3 litre water tank with each of the three.
- Thanks to PID control, you can set the brewing temperature individually on all three machines.
- A shot timer for regulating the flow time is also provided.
- Last but not least: The steam lance of all three espresso machines is insulated.
Quickmill 0985-EP "Emilia
With its 1.8-litre stainless steel boiler and stylish tilt valves, the Quickmill 0985-EP "Emilia" already comes with top features. But what makes this machine extra special is the built-in diaphragm, which further dampens the already quite quiet rotary pump - a bonus that not many espresso machines come with!

Rocket flies higher than before with the Mozzafiato Cronometro R!
The Rocket Mozzafiato Cronometro R also has a 1.8 litre kettle, but this is made of copper.
With its vintage rotary valves, the Mozzafiato remains true to the typical Rocket design and is visually very convincing!
Also: In contrast to the Rocket Appartamento, which we introduced to you in the last blog, the stainless steel railing of the cup tray sits firmly on the chassis!

ECM Technika V Profi
The third espresso machine we show you is the ECM Technika V Profi! It also comes with a stainless steel boiler, but with a boiler volume of 2.1 litres. Like all larger ECM espresso machines, this one also has two tilt valves and the tried-and-tested Faema E61 brewing group.

By the way, to go with the Quickmill and Rocket machines, we recommend espresso grinders from Eureka or the Rocket Faustino.
ECM also produces top espresso grinders and as a complement to the ECM Technika V Profi we recommend the ECM S-Automatic 64 grinder.

The Emilia convinced us completely, because it combines all the advantages of various brands and offers an unbeatable price-performance ratio.
