Which cup is best for me to practice latte art?
Cappuccino cups with a round, wide-mouthed shape and a capacity of about 180 to 250 ml are best suited for latte art. The rounded interior helps blend the milk evenly with the espresso and makes it easier to pour patterns such as hearts, rosettes, or tulips.
Very tall or narrow cups are less suitable for beginners, as it is harder to control the milk in them. Oversized coffee cups can also make practice more difficult because they require more milk foam, and the proportions between espresso and milk aren't always ideal.
If you're just starting out with latte art, you should choose a classic cappuccino cup. It provides the best conditions for developing a feel for the proper pouring technique. As you gain more experience, you can then practice in larger cups for flat whites, caffè lattes, or milk coffee.
