Faema E61

As first Brew group of its kind, the Faema E61 a so-called pre-infusion, i.e. the firmly pressed powder in the Portafilter is first softened with a little water, in order to be able to better absorb the pressure of nine bar with which it is subsequently passed through. The result is maximum extraction of the aroma substances!

Furthermore, the E61 is equipped with a thermosyphon system, which keeps the hot water from the heat exchanger at the right temperature. The hot water rises into the brew group, which in turn causes the temperature to drop. The thermosyphon then ensures that the cooled part of the water from the brew group flows back into the heat exchanger, where it is heated again. This ensures that the ideal temperature for extraction is always maintained.
